Yesterday June 21th 2008.
The famous 46 Years old Dragracer Scott Kalitta dies when his funnycar (DragCar) explodes and burst complete into flames at about 300MPH.
The tragedy happend during the final round of the qualification for the Lucas Oil NHRA SuperNationals at the “old-bridge township raceway” in Englishtown.
The race started and S.Kalitta does a good run, but in the middle of the track his car explodes and burst in flames. It seems that he was trying to stop his funny-car, but apparently not get it. The Car arrived the end of the Track, crashed and explodes with a huge Fireball. People was trying to safe his life and taked him to a Medical-Center in Old Bridge, Englishtown. But unfortunately he died a short time later.
Scott Kalitta was husband and father, he leaves a wife and two sons.
